You enter a room full of a bright array of colors, a painting table in the center of the room, and blank white paper on the walls.  You move from the table to your paper after choosing from a large selection of brushes.   You move, allowing gesture, movement, or image to take you on a journey.   The painting calls to you to make the next move.    Allow the colors to flirt with you...which calls to you in this moment?   Let the color lead you into the next movement, the next stroke.  What if you didn't have to know what was next?

Artspace is a sacred space for creative exploration.   Classes and workshops are relatively small and conducted in a safe and supportive environment.   Paintings are not critiqued, as the focus is always on the process.    We ask that participants  refrain from commenting, even complimenting, other participants paintings in order to provide the safety needed for free and spontaneous expression.

 We meet as a group both before and at the end of classes/workshops in order to provide an opportunity for teaching and discussion.   Mutual support is created as we hold space for participants to share aspects of their journey with the group.   We continue to honor the principle of not commenting or critiquing each others journey or painting.
