unfolding. The two and a half hour initial

individually process and integrate your
experience.
The cost of an initial individual session is
$95.00 which includes materials. At

and a half hour
follow-up session
is recommended which
will provide time mostly for painting and integration time.

adjusted accordingly.
Individual
Counseling Sessions (one
hour) $75.00
(sliding scale available to $50.00)
I offer individual therapy and supportive
counseling for individuals facing life transitions,
and for those
who are dealing with chronic or life
threatening medical issues. I am a licensed therapist
and mental health
nurse practitioner with diverse background
training. I spent many years working with people
dealing with
a cancer diagnosis, and was the director and
developer of a psychosocial oncology department back
on the
east coast. I spoke and wrote about cancer
survivorship and designed and facilitated groups
addressing the
loss and grief associated with illness. It was this
work which deepened my appreciation for the importance
of
relationships, being fully present, and
prioritizing what is truly of value.
Additional trainings have included a deepening
understanding of the impact of culture on individuals
and families, and the interrelationship
between our physical environment and our emotional
well-being.
My Shamanic training has deepened my appreciation
for the importance of rituals, intuitive
knowing,
spiritual practice, and the interconnectedness of
all beings, while my experience with process painting
and
Buddhism have both deepened my awareness of the
ways that stories, judgments, and beliefs influence my
well being. Both of these, in addition to my
own work facing chronic health issues, have deepened
my comfort
with not knowing, allowing, trusting, and
being as fully present
in
each moment as possible.
I integrate numerous
trainings into my work with clients, incorporating a
body centered focusing approach, with
insight and awareness
training, journaling, creativity, and a present focus
orientation.
I have chosen to work outside of the healthcare
insurance system so offer a reduced rate for
individual sessions.
My rate per session is $75.00.

Mask
making workshop:
What energy
or healing would you like to call into your
life? We will set an intention to journey
for a sacred image. The mask that you create
may represent a figure that can assist you in discovering
a deeper
truth about yourself and your life. The
mask may externalize a figure that already resides
within
you. Join me for this two part workshop which
will include a guided Shamanic journey to
identify a sacred figure. You will then have the
opportunity to mold and shape a mask in its likeness.
We will return on
Saturday to paint and
adorn.
A closing
ritual will provide an opportunity to imbue this
sacred image with the healing and wisdom
that has been
gifted, and that the mask now embodies.
The cost for the two
part workshop is $100.00,
plus an additional cost of
$10.00 for
materials, total
cost $110.00. Register early as
workshop
size is limited to 5 participants.
Please bring
a yoga mat to lie on for journeying.
Scheduled
Workshops: watch for future scheduling
(Workshop is
two part beginning on Wednesday evening and
finishing on Sunday)
Beaded
Rattle Class:
The
rattle is one of the oldest healing instruments and
has been used to release energy
and
power for healing and cleansing. The rhythmic
sounds help loosen rigid energy patterns and release
negative
energies
around the body. It is also used in ceremony to
call in healing spirits and allies.
Come
together with others to create a beautiful large beaded
rattle made from elk hide.
Watch
for future scheduling, $60.00
Advance
registration and deposit are required for all
ongoing classes
and workshops. A
50% deposit will hold your place.
Deposits are refundable
up until one week prior
to the start of class/workshop minus a $35.00
handling
fee. There are
no refunds within 3 days of start of class/workshops
as your
place can no longer be filled. Classes
are small so please try not to
drop out at the last
moment as it affects others.
